Kinda Scary

So, this happened:

http://abc13.com/news/murder-charges-fi ... s/1130935/

The section of road on which this incident occurred; I drive it often. In fact, I've been on it twice in the past 12 hours. I was in Hydro, where the 1st shots were fired, when I heard about this on the radio, earlier.

I so desperately wish that I could be armed on the truck. All I want is to be able to shoot back, if I am shot at. Really, is that too much to ask?

Oh, well. I'm sure glad that I missed the excitement.

I wish national reciprocity would pass, but even if it does, do you have other restriction due to being a comercial driver, either via Law or company policy?

Agreed. Love to see it happen. More people die every year as a result of poor judgement or handling of a vehicle from a licensed driver, than at the hands of a CHP holder's weapon. Yet, we allow people to drive anywhere in this country with different standards to obtain operators licenses. Although, it would be ridiculous imo to not be able to travel freely between states, I think it's just as ridiculous that you can't protect yourself from state to state. Ironically, some of the states your VA CHP isn't good in....have some of the highest murder rates in the country.... :bangin:
