Gun Rights Haters: Victims or Aggressors?

Gun Rights Haters: Victims or Aggressors?

Now these perpetual “victims” want to learn about “Powerfully Peaceful Action in the Face of Armed and Aggressive Opposition”. Why do they say they need to do this? Because, according to them, “Almost every group in the gun sense movement has – at some time in the last several years – been confronted by armed and/or aggressive counter demonstrators at one of our public actions.” Though as you can see at the link above no examples of any aggressive behavior towards them are given. Of course, we often counter-demonstrate their events armed but that's not aggression as the zero body count and zero hospitalization rate among attendees show. If being around guns frightens them there is a name for that, hoplophobia. Perhaps a psychiatrist would be more helpful to them than a workshop.

Man... that video with Michael Weaver was just ridiculous. And the comments on youtube have nothing to do with gun control or gun rights. Its just a bunch of people attacking each other while name calling.

Is that really what its coming down too? Absolutely no way to even remotely have a civil conversation with an anti? Good grief.

Their approach is one of "shouting" us down. I've seen it in private conversations too where they don't try to have a discussion as much as just try to indignantly assert their views. All the facts & logic in the world mean nothing. I once had a gun rights hater say that the reason cities in north Jersey had a higher murder rate than NYC was that NJ has easier gun laws. NJ easier gun laws! :hysterical: You can't make this stuff up! Neither can you reason with their emotions.

To answer the question in the title, they think that they are the former while being the latter.

Clearly aggressors that attempt to wear the guise of victims. Unfortunately, they always go postal when they dont get their way. Its gotta be hard when you think you are the right hand of god.
