South Carolina passed it... overwhelmingly.

[quote“Felons and domestic abusers already do, this simply recognizes your constitutional right combined with two federal Supreme Court rulings,” noted Rep. Mike Pitts, R-Laurens, the amendment’s sponsor][/quote]
Now THAT makes sense!
Meanwhile, here in Virginia our own governor Terry "Mr. Rhetoric" Auliffe signs an executive order limiting our constitutional rights.
Now he's whining because his pal Big Daddy Bloomberg wasn't able to buy him a communist majority in the legislature.
I'm all for pushing for more sensible gun laws like SC just passed.
Finally! A SENSIBLE Gun Law!

I think this is the story that the OP is quoting, although it is from back in April.

Re: Finally! A SENSIBLE Gun Law!
Sorry, here is what happened:
A colleague mentioned the SC legislation last week. I did not check the day. Meanwhile I was looking for the YoMamma trade deal for another reason. I had that in my clipboard when I posted this.
My apologies for not checking the date OR the link. Even thought the last news of it was in April
Here is the correct link:

I still find the argument profound especially when held against those in Virginia elected offices pushing to restrict our constitutional rights in the name of "common sense gun laws".
So again my apologies for my mistakes but let me ask you isn't about time this sort of initiative was a hot topic in Virginia? Actually I'd rather see it as "old news" here and the Bloomberg's of the world running away with their tails between their legs for even thinking of attacking our rights under the constitution.
