The wretched winter sneezin' has begun. Blah.
A few more days, I'll head towards home. I will fix a tropical beverage with rum, and drink to the rapid return of hot summer days.

Know those areas well. Used to live in Utah. I would travel between UT & VA multiple times a year. 80 through Wyoming is a beeotch damn near any time of year. Always windy it seems. Put a little of the white stuff on it....damn. Been through Vail in the winter too...yikes. That place is horrible in snow season. I did some work there about 13yrs ago in the winter. wow. It just snowed, & snowed, & snowed. Thought I'd never get out of there...!SHMIV wrote:I noticed snow caps on a lot of western mountains, a few days back. A couple days later, I noted a few blue splotches on the north western corner of my weather map. Yesterday, I ran into a guy that works for the same company that I do, out in Kansas, on I-70. He dropped down from 80 to avoid heavy snow in Wyoming. A couple hours later, TBH ended up dropping from 70 to 40 to avoid the snow in Vail, Colorado. Then, this morning, just west of Albuquerque, New Mexico, I hit a snow storm.
