Australia - Crime in the Wake of the Ban

Hey guys...

I saw this on another gun forum. It was posted by an Australian who still lives there. He shared this as a warning to the US to fight for our gun rights, because their country is in chaos. They are also saying the all of the stats released by their government are complete lies; numbers are faked and years for comparison are cherry-picked to make it look even better. They say things like "Firearm suicides are down" while the actual suicide rate is unchanged, so no lives have been saved.

Basically, they banned all semi-auto rifles as well as semi-auto and pump-action shotguns. I haven't vetted any information in this video. Reported in this video, from 2001 to 2011,

Armed robberies are UP 69%
Assault with firearms is UP 28%
Gun murder is UP 19%
Home invasions are up 21%

The governments answer... they haven't confiscated enough guns. They are now talking about banning ALL guns... because you know, what they have done has worked so well.

The OP in the other forum said that there have been 3 recent terror attacks by Muslims, but the AU state and federal governments are refusing to say its terror attacks because only one person had gone on a shooting spree in each of the 3 cases. Instead, the government is calling them "lone wolf attacks". Sound familiar?

We need to vet this info some how, but I have no idea where to begin. If this is true, we really need to spread the word.

When you look at the numbers from before and after the ban yes maybe they stopped mass shootings but the number of murders went up then leveled up before slowly going down.
There is no way they can claim it was because of the bans.

The more shocking numbers are violent crimes and sexual assaults. I guess when you know victims are defenseless it allows you to get your rape on.
