Flamethrower

Hy guys, the new XM42 or XM 15 flamethrower sounds very interesting. But does anybody have any idea where or how to buy it? Only on-line? Do you know somebody around Virginia who already bought it?
Would be good to hear some suggestions.

Looking through the website, it seems that it is only available online, at the moment. And, at a cost of $999.99 + shipping. There is an 8 to 10 week wait.

I do believe that I could build my own for far less.

TBH would rather me spend the grand. I guess that she doesn't quite trust my building skills, lol.
