Getting a handle of our illegal immigrant problem

Everybody’s talking about the illegal alien immigrant problems that America has, but there’s one aspect that isn’t being talked about much and that’s the illegal use of our visa program.

Do you know that 4 out of every 10 illegal immigrant that are here in the United States have come here on a workers visa and instead of leaving at the end of their workers visa they decided to stay and the Obama government has decided not to enforce the law that requires them to leave and doesn’t even try to find them.

One salutation to this problems would be to require every state to use the E-Verify system that’s in effect, but again, Obama doesn’t require that of the states that don’t use this system, and that’s the rub.

Along with that, if every employer who hired these illegal immigrants was fined and prosecuted, then soon the word would get out that it’s not in their best interests to continue down this road of hiring these illegal immigrants.

So while I agree that something needs to be done at the southern border in the way of building a fence, one dramatic way to take charge and get a handle of our illegal immigrant problem will be to start enforcing the laws we currently have on the books.

A close friend of mine was once a supervisor for a landscaping company. They had alot of illegals on the payroll; they all got hired on forged documentation.

Apparently, the social security cards were "obviously fake", but "they look great when photocopied ".

No incentive for employers to care, and since it's cheap labor, there's plenty of incentive to hire them.

It is true that some businesses hire illegals because they will work cheap. But a lot of the ones the ones that have hard, dirty work frequently hire them at pretty decent wages just because they will do that kind of work and gringos would rather collect welfare.

I agree with you mmckee1952. I have said before we lure them to come here then complain that they don't want to leave. As long as our fearless leaders and his merry men don't enforce the laws, there is no way they will leave on their own.

We should also be going after the businesses that are hiring them. They owe taxes based incomes, SS, welfare and all the programs that the upright businesses pay for. This may help our unemployment too.

I truly believe getting immigration under control will be the toughest task for our next leaders.

It's really a shame that Americans are ruining this country, it's sad when ya think about..I know a few contractors that all they hire is illegals, it's gonna be a mess soon if nothing is done...I love hearing Trump talk about Illegals, the Wall...Something to look forward to..

Illegal Immigrants in Ca. Over 10,000,000 - They round up 244 in Ca.

This is almost funny except they are all illegal, criminals and been deported before. Some involved children.

There is almost as many sanctuary cities in the US as they rounded up.
