More gun back ground checks & registration

People keep on saying that there needs to be more back ground checks and gun registration and to tighten up the gun show loop holes, well let me bring you back to reality. The back ground checks that are currently in effect would work if the federal government would arrest and charge every person who lies on the NICS form 4473. Out of 12,350 falsified NICS checks that were submitted to the FBI for prosecution, only 10% actually get prosecuted. That my friends is part of the problem.

The other major problem is the states aren’t required to submit anyone who has been deemed having a violent mental problem to the FBI data base and that’s only the ones who have been committed for violent psychical problems, the ones who self-commit don’t get counted.

These are where the majority of these killer’s might be stopped, but we all know if someone really wants to kill someone their either going to do it anyway they can or they will obtain a gun on the street and if they do that and get caught committing a gun crime with an illegal gun, then it should be a federal crime with a mandatory 5 years in jail for the first offence and 10 years for the second, that will take a lot of them off the streets really fast.

That is exactly why gun registration shouldn’t be done, if they don’t know who has a gun they can’t tax them or take them away. Just look at history, at what Hitler, Mo and Stalin did, first they required gun registration and then they took them away and then, millions of people were killed because they were defenseless. Plain and simple.

The liberals can or try to pass all the gun control laws they want. The only people it will effect is us the law biding gun owners. It will make it harder for us to buy guns, ammo and find ranges to shoot on. Criminals do not pay attention to laws. They will still buy guns and kill people. Just once before I die I would like to see the liberal press stand up on air and say guns don't kill people do.

The libs want the laws 'loose' so they can find ways to put everyone into a 'rejected' bucket.

If you commit a crime, that is pretty simple to assess. Go/No go, guilty/not guilty.

But when it comes to someone else assessing you, your mental state, that is a subjective evaluation and can swing either way just by a doctor having a good/bad day - or $$$, or vacation cruise, or ??? This is why the background check should be guarded against to keep it in proper scope.
