No. I didn't call. I was talking to a buddy of mine who is well experienced with suppressors. He was telling me that what I saw is very common, but it wasn't the can itself. He was saying that if there is any dust or debris, like a few granules of unburnt powder, where I laid it down, those items will flash and burn very quickly.
I didn't see and damage to the can or coating, so I am assuming he is correct in what I experienced and its all good.

Yes … the cans will develop a nice fire ring of discoloration. Take a look at cans that have gone through thousands of full auto fire, and still going strong!

Schweet! That looks like so much fun to shoot! My buddy has one like that and we are hoping to go to the range together and trade off some shots downrange!
