An excerpt from the show, “What would you do” concerning gun’s and youngsters.

Watch As Woman Tells A Father Not to Buy Son a Firearm at Texas Gun Store
.
by S.H. Blannelberry
.
How would you respond if you were at a gun store and a father was going to buy a firearm for his son and a random woman interjects and says that it’s unsafe for the dad to give his son a gun?
.
That was the premise of a recent episode of ABC’s “What Would You Do?”
.
As you’ll see, patrons weren’t shy about telling the woman that she was out-of-line.

While I agree with the points made in the video it was done in a gun store in Texas. Had it been in a sporting goods store or a Walmart that sells long arms the customer base would have been more mixed and the outcome likely different.

As it stands I think it shows the gun owning community as responsible people who belive in proper teaching.

Nice. Now I'm curious.
What are the laws in Virginia regarding firearms for kids? Firearm type, child age?
All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The communist party must command all the guns, that way, no guns can ever be used to command the party - Mao Tse Tung

Here are two pieces of information found regarding minors and VA gun laws
The age requirement to purchase and possess a firearm is 18 years old. Minors under the age of 18 may be possess or acquire a firearm if the transfer is between family members, or the minor is engaged in hunting or sporting activities. Handguns and assault firearms are illegal to be possessed by any minor under the age of 18.
No minor of the age of 12 may use a firearm, unless under the direct supervision of an adult.

Would ABC do a similar scenario for a parent buying a child a pool? The number two cause of deaths for children under five?

Maybe, if the #1 cause of death in children under five is jumping into a pool without any water in it.
