WTB 1969 Dodge Charger
A couple of friends of mine were helping me move some things yesterday. We were taking a break during the rain shower . Scott ask me what I had planned for that 440 Crate Motor and Tranny. I told him I was still looking for an old Dodge pickup to put it in this winter. He looked a little more and asked about the 3 gallons of Harley Davidson Orange Paint. A buddy of mine that has a sign business gave it to me a few weeks ago.
The 3 of us were just standing there when Scott said " if you had a horn that played Dixie you could build a General Lee". We have a friend that is really into Mopars and we know he will love to be involved. I told Scott and Keith if they can come up with a Charger I "IN".
I figure at $10 a ride this thing will pay for itself in no time. YA HOOOOO!!

10 bucksper ride will never keep the general repaired if it makes a jump every time!
Good luck with the project, and post pics!!

You know what's funny? many a time I could have just "bought something", but chose to spend extra money, effort, and time to build it.
Means more. Less disposable, and makes me look like a "badazz" in the eyes of my girlfriend's kids.

I note that there are times that I will want something. And I can go buy something that will do, or I can build exactly what I want.
When I build something, and someone casts their eyes upon the thing, and remarks:
"Hey, that's a right nice thingamabobber; where'd you come by that?"
It feels pretty damn good to reply:
"I made it. "

First, you need to find a restorable '68 or '69 Charger. They are kind of popular. And expensive.dorminWS wrote:Silly question. Just cuz you can; that's why! Ain't there no good ole boy in you atall?
