Be careful this weekend
If there ever was a reason to CCW, it’s this 4th of July weekend, the FBI & DHS has come out with their sternest warning about the possibility of a terrorist attack that I feel is warranted. They have said the internet and social media chatter has increased dramatically, use common sense and watch you six, if you see something or someone out of order, report it ASAP.

We were invited to go to DC for the weekend with the wife's sister and her boy friend...(After we stopped laughing)...We decided to Hunker down in Dinwiddie and watch as little TV as possible. Spent most of yesterday at our range and then picking blackberries until dark. Most likely we will do the same until Tuesday !

Most attacks are expected to be with explosives. Unless you catch someone planting explosives, you aren't going to have much use for a firearm to defend yourself against a true terror attack from a group like ISIS/ISIL.
That said, a pistol or two on your person and an AR in the trunk might be a good idea for the fruitcakes that pop-up with a firearm, like that racist SOB that shot-up the church and killed 9 people.
