50 Years Ago, Paul Harvey Predicted America’s Future

50 Years Ago, Paul Harvey Predicted America’s Future… Here’s His Chilling Warning
Radio legend Paul Harvey was known for his patriotism and his conservative politics, both of which ring just as true over 70 years after he first took to the microphone.
Harvey’s most famous broadcast was probably his “If I were the devil” speech, which he first gave in 1965. On its 50th anniversary, it seems oddly prescient of what America has become in the intervening years.
The speech, which was about the decline of America through permissiveness and liberalism, sent shockwaves through America when it was first given.
“If I were the devil … I mean, if I were the Prince of Darkness, I would, of course, want to engulf the whole earth in darkness,” Harvey began.

My Thoughts:
Paul Harvey predicted America's future and warned us about what we would be facing... it's almost as if he had a time machine.
His words are chilling... he explained perfectly what's happening right now. It's about time we listened.
“Those who surrender freedom for security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one.”

We could make the same predictions today. 50 years from now, many will have forgotten just how bad it really was now. Those of use who really care right now and would remember, we will have been returned to the earth. Regardless, it will be much worse then, and we will look as if we had a time machine too.

You see, humans are predictable. We fail too learn from our past. We fail to remember, accept and apply the lessons history is trying to teach us. So, we make the same mistakes over and over again, from the time man became civilized until the day civilization permanently collapses around the world, our species will be trapped in a continuous loop.

Some will see we are in a loop and try to break it. Some will see we are in a loop and try to perpetuate it. The masses will drift through time blissfully unaware and think that those who see the cycle are brilliant masterminds, for no reason other than because they can't live anywhere but in the present.
