I started up a GoFundMe.com VGOF fundraiser to help cover our web hosting fees for this year.
The VGOF website garners a significant amount of web traffic, and is hosted on a VPS system that costs a little over $1,400 per year under our current web services contract.
I have a difficult time each year making this payment, and I pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket each year to make it happen.
If you are a freedom-loving American, please consider providing a donation to help keep the VGOF website up and running.
Thank you for your consideration!

Re: 2015 VGOF Fund Drive for Web Hosting
Out of curiosity, how long is your current web services contract good for, would you renew it, and does VGOF generate more demand than an average host (GoDaddy, Bluehost) is willing to put up with? What about something like Amazon Web Services?
Sorry for the dumb questions. Just interested in some of the behind the scenes stuff.

Yes - too much traffic. If I could get away with a cheaper hosting solution, I would definitely do so.ShotgunBlast wrote:Out of curiosity, how long is your current web services contract good for, would you renew it, and does VGOF generate more demand than an average host (GoDaddy, Bluehost) is willing to put up with? And to be fair - there are other websites running on this server, but VGOF is the main traffic source.
