I'd say if I'd been done that way as a first-grader Pappy would have had some hides nailed to the wall; and maybe actually physically whooped some asses. The more silly-assedness we let them get away with, the more of it they'll expose our kids to. It's an important part of the progressive/political correctness indoctrination process.
