Add forum for gun-related DIY/Projects

Rick,

I believe I read a post where someone (other than me) asked for a forum for do-it-yourself DIY projects or hobbies. I would like vote for the same.

I would like a forum for those doing gun-related projects such as gun racks, target stands, cases, holsters, displays, refinishing a stock, custom grips, etc. Might be further broken down into Rifle mods, pistol mods, misc projects.

Might you consider or post for comments/suggestions to the forum members to see if it is worthy of its own forum?

Anyone else interested in this? I haven't seen many DIY projects posted in the boards that I can recall. Kinda hate to open up a whole bunch of new forums that rarely get used (i.e. scopes and optics)

Maybe we can use the "Showoff Your Hardware" section? I haven't seen enough volume either.

It would be cool; I wouldn't mind checking out other people's projects. I don't have much time for building things, myself, though. Much less, the time for photographic documentation. I have pictures I took over a year ago, of interesting things that I have seen, that I've been meaning to share here, and still haven't gotten around to it.

So I can understand the hesitation in adding a new category.
