And yet...there it is.
I never would have thought it possible: the words "flintlock" and "drive-by" used in the same sentence.“I was fingerprinted and I was chained by my legs to an ice cold bench. Apparently there must be a lot of drive-by flintlock shootings in North Jersey,” he quipped bitterly.

Isn't that the exact firearm that the gun-grabbers say IS covered by 2A?

Yeah, you'd think that tha gun grabbers would be all over this Constitutional issue. I guess they weren't being truthful about this either.

Has it actually come to this ? Does the State of NJ LEO's have so much time on their hands to Hassel a Senior Citizen for something as petty as this seems to be ? I guess if they found a Loaded Glock or 1911 , they could have just Killed the Old Man at the seen ! It must be illegal in NJ to collect antique firearms !

I didn't catch the date, but I did see the memo to the effect that God had officially forsaken N.J.

Two senior citizens stopped and the Deputy demands to search the car or he will call in dogs. I wonder what the probable cause for the search could possibly have been? Suspicion of carrying a concealed catheter, maybe?

Gun-crazy? Me? I'd say the gun-crazy ones are the ones that don’t HAVE one.

Not surprised, as I was born and raised in the Garbage State. That place is the anus of the east coast. They'll run this poor guy through the ringer then suddenly turn him loose without so much as an apology or explanation.
Best place to be in NJ is smack in the middle. That way any direction you go is out.

The Sheriff (Who is a double dipper by the way) claims on his Facebook page that they had drugs and drug paraphernalia in the car and were in a drug area. Strangely enough there is no mention of this in the arrest report and the accusation only surfaced when said Sheriff started to take heat.dorminWS wrote:Two senior citizens stopped and the Deputy demands to search the car or he will call in dogs. I'd have told the bastid to bring on the hounds. And after he called the hounds, which he probably wouldn't have done anyway, he had better call his attorney.

He also has deleted the posts making the accusations, but not before people captured screen shots first.Ron71 wrote:Drugs = probably blood pressure medicine and insulinscott9050 wrote: The Sheriff (Who is a double dipper by the way) claims on his Facebook page that they had drugs and drug paraphernalia in the car and were in a drug area. What's the difference between New Jersey, and a toilet... The toilet is at least useful.

Glad the charges were dropped. I hope that he gets his gun back in good condition, and in swift order.
