Interesting position by Eric Holder. I suspect that whatever law it is, to which Holder was making reference, was in direct conflict with the Constitution, and therefore unconstitutional.

I could not agree more. Federal law is not Constitutional law. Only laws laid out in the Constitution are Constitutional laws. Therefore, any state law negating federal law cannot be unconstitutional, based solely on the fact that it contradicts or nullifies the federal laws.

Also, based on the Constitution, ANY laws created referencing a limitation to anyone obtaining, owning, or carrying arms is Unconstitutional. Therefore, as H mentions... any law that jackass is referring to would be what's unconstitutional, not the state laws.

Ward’s legislation, SB 1330, makes it illegal in Arizona to enforce any federal law that the state deems to be in violation of the Second Amendment to include limits on firearms, ammunition, and accessories. Further, it withholds both financial and material support for federal investigations into firearms law violations such as those pursued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Any state or local official that does provide support would be forced out of their position or office and be “forever after ineligible” to hold a position of public trust in Arizona.

Pay attention everyone... states like Arizona and Kansas are setting the stage for what every state should be doing in support of the Second Amendment. This is what freedom looks like. The Government (in this case the State) recognizing the power is with the People and recognizing it needs to stay with the People.

Laws and Government are the honor system. Federal politicians and non-elected government rule makers need to remember that they are the minority and they work for us. Their job is not to imprison the people but protect them. An just as easily as they have been given power by the people, so is it that the people can take that power back. If you do not honor our customs, traditions, and Constitution as you have sworn before God to do, (honoring the system) then you will be fired.
