I live in Burke and occasionally hear gunfire. Is there a range here?

Check out the NRA range. It's in Fairfax on Waples Mill road (NRA HQ). I doubt Burke would ever allow a range.

Where do you live in Burke? I think the FFX county police have a training center and range near Pope's Head Road and 286 (the parkway), but I'm not positive about that. Depending on where you are, you might be able to hear shooting from the Fairfax Rod and Gun club, or the Izzak Walton league range in Centerville, but it would have to be a quiet morning. The Bull Run Shooting center is also in Centerville, but I'd be surprised if you could hear that.
