A frame Remington 30-06

Post by MikeVictor »

I am wondering why this bullet does not have a boat tail version since it is designed with long range shots in mind. And why not an Accutip as well.... The balistic coefficient is .377 or so... whereas it is more like .448 for and accutip boat tail round..

Why not lessen the drop at 300+ yards for tbis bullet?

it is NOT designed for long range hunting. The lack of the features you cite, are exactly the things that would be present if it were designed for long range work.
