We've got some good folks on this forum.
You'll likely find that this is one of the friendliest places on the internet; that's been my experience.

Re: Appreciation from wufchyld
Like SHMIV mentioned... we really have some great people here. We are all here to learn and share our knowledge, as well as blow off steam about current events, share good or bad news in our lives, etc.
I think I can explain the "troll" thing... though I don't want to speak for anyone else, only myself. See, many of us are friends. Not internet acquaintances, but actual live, in person, hanging out, going to birthdays, dinner, etc. kinda friends. So, there is a tight knit. However, when someone new comes in, the group is very welcoming. I have never felt like an outsider. Never dogged for asking newb questions. Just a good group of guys.
With that said, there are three kinds of people that start off by trying to buy stuff or sell stuff within their first few posts... trolls, and suspects are the two biggest ones. On rear occasion, someone is looking for a new place to get info and meet friends and that timing falls inline with wanting to buy or sell an item. However, in my personal experience, regardless of the type of forum, that last type of person is a very rare occurrence.
So, glad you are not a troll... please don't become a suspect, and welcome (again) to the VGOF!

It appears that I may have been a little hasty with the "Troll" label. I was new once and some probably considered me a troll.
I apologize. Welcome to VGOF!

We are all happy to have you here and hope that you will give us all a chance as we are a great group of folks here at VGOF. Most of us are as Marc said are close knit even though we have SPIRITED discussions on some of the threads we all get along well. We all have the love and passion for shooting in its various forms. Please check out the Meet-N-Greet section and if you can make it I am sure that you would find the day enjoyable.
