PC Tools was bought out by Symantec, and then it was closed down. Their best product was Registry Mechanic. Thing is, they left a download link open. You can have their last version for free. There are a few other programs at the link you might be interested in as well, but Registry Mechanic is the good one. It's for Win 7, XP, and Vista.

I've had PC tools Registry Mechanic for the past 2 years, and I was very happy with the same.
However, as it is no longer be supported and essentially outdated, I've subsequently found a free version of JetClean, and it appears to do as outstanding of a job of as the Registry Mechanic used to.
