No, I retired from the Army about 15 years ago, and now I work for the Marine Corps at Quantico.

The "R/" is just a habit I picked up during a tour at the US Atlantic Command (now US Joint Forces Command) in Norfolk. At the time, CINCLANT was about 85% naval personnel.
