We have spent the last couple of years changing the way we do membership processing. Unfortunately, this put us way behind in getting out renewal notices. Our renewals were going out AFTER the September 30th expiration. In fact, some folks are just now completing their 2013-2014 renewals.


In the effort to get us back on track, a schedule has been created so that members will have the opportunity to renew before the September 30st expiration date. This requires us to start the process almost 5 months earlier than last year.


Please understand this effort is to make sure you have the opportunity to renew BEFORE your membership expires and since the renewal process can take as long as 10 weeks during the peak renewal season, that means we need to start NOW!

In an effort to be frugal with the money our membership provides, we always start the renewal process with a request for members to renew using electronic means. You get your membership card sooner and it saves us (and therefore you) the cost of printing and mailing the renewal forms.


However, if you prefer to renew using the more traditional form of paper, that is fine too. We will mail the renewal forms those who do not renew electronically.


Please consider renewing (or joining) TODAY! And don't forget to include your most generous donation to the VCDL and MORE importantly the VCDL-PAC!


(if you want to renew and do NOT have your membership number available just renew without it. We will figure it out.)

Im confused,since i joined earlier this year,do i have to renew by the end of september?

I'm curious too. How often and when is a renewal expected? I would normally wait til the end of August as mine is due the end of September.

Is the Join button also used for a renewal?

If you need assistance with these web pages, I'd will gladly volunteer to assist.
