I am very interested in this revolver too. I have an old unmolested Bearcat but I am thinking hard about adding a SP101 to my collection. I have to check it out.

I have one and absolutely love it so much I got rid of my S&W 63, better trigger and sights.

I also had a 63 but have the SP and love it. J-Frame Smiths have a horrible trigger but the SP can be nicely tamed.

Uh...someone might wanna tell ruger to back off that $600+ price. I like it, but without speedloaders, and AMMO available? $600 buys LOTS of mags, and rounds for the OTHER weapons!

hell, you can get a .22 AUTOLOADER for HALF that FROM RUGER!

Your not wrong but there making the gun the same price as every other in the line. Same frame, action, quality but a smaller barrel, no reason it would cost anything less than another SP101.

Reverendel, you're forgetting that a Ruger revolver can also be used as a hammer, a sledgehammer, a wheel chuck, a door stop, an anchor, a throwing hammer, a mace, and still shoot afterwards. That SR22 (I have one of those, too) won't handle all that. Think of it as not only a gun, but all those other things, too!
