Go to VA Arms in Manassas as they have plenty of optics and lasers on hand and can help you with your decision.
I like the concept of a laser in any type of HD scenario, even though I still don't own any.
And I think the most common solution to 'aging eyes' for revolver shooting is a RDS, though I've heard it takes some training to get used to the sight picture.
Lastly, hunting deer with a 44 mag revolver is MANLY!

Tell that to my ex wife she used to go w/ a model 66 Smith 357 w/ a scope on it!!
