Many of you might remember Jay as the Big White Man With a Gun at the VGOF picnic. Jay has been a big contributor to the forum since its inception and I would like to give him a hearty welcome to the forum moderation crew.

2) Second Amendment March needs your help!
Leyla (the Virginia coordinator for the Second Amendment March) is putting forth a lot of effort to get the word out about the 2AM. She has been traveling all over the Commonwealth, attending gun shows and other events. She can't do it by herself and needs our support! There is a Gun Show in Virginia Beach this coming weekend and she could use all the help she can get! If you plan to attend the show, please take an hour or two to help Leyla at the 2AM table!

4) VGOF Backs McDonnell for Governor of Virginia
The NRA has officially backed Bob McDonnell for Virginia Governor. Virginia has been termed "Ground Zero for the Gun Debate" and we need all the help we can get to defeat the left-wing loons who have taken over our federal government. The election is November 3rd. Get out and vote!
