Virginia Pistol, Linden

If you got a good deal or great service from a shop or range and you want to brag about them, here's the place to do it. Likewise, if you are unhappy about someone's service or feel like you've been ripped off, we want to know that too!

Virginia Pistol, Linden

The local gun shop offers real friendly service, fairly good prices, excellent training classes, and a fine gunsmith and easy FFL services.

The selection of handguns is pretty good, Glock, S&W, Ruger to name a few. Rifles and shot guns seem to be ruger, savage, Mossberg I think. There is some used and consignment stuff also.

They've been trying to open up a range in the area but finding to many roadblocks.

If you are in the area stop by and say howdy to Jim and Mike.

My only association with them is as a satisfied customer and maybe a drop in to say hey as I'm driving by.

I've been there a couple times with my neighbor, who visits religiously. Since I commute from Reston, I usually stop in at Virginia Arms in Manassas or Stonewall in Winchster. More gun porn to look at than in Linden, but the Linden folks are very helpful and will order anything you need.

Agree - this is a small shop which is part of the charm I think. I like walking into a business where the guy behind the counter or the owner greets me by name, tells me about some interesting stuff coming in, shows me something I might like and tells me some stories that can be rather hard to believe but entertaining all the same.

Still - visiting shops closer into the city with acres of displays is always a blast... like a mini gun show. Is Virginia Arms the one where you walk in and there are display cases of guns on both sides, walk to the end and to the left and there's all the accessories and fluff stuff? If so, been there a couple of times and liked what I saw. The guy behind the counter wasn't too interested in talking to me about a H&K he had under the glass but I've been known to ask stupid questions. It's a way of life.

That's the place. I can spend a lot of time in there. Probably why I'm under standing orders by Household 6 to not go in alone.

And with my credit card.

Don't feel bad. Though I know my way around an AR from many years with an M4......I'm no pistol savant....so I tread carefully when browsing...so as not to look like a dork.

i have to agree, i just posted my own review on them. i have had them do some work on my 10/22...great folks, very customer oriented. Only thing missing is a range out back. :)
