I'll try not to make this a soapbox, but it appears that cheap imported goods have now hit me where I feel it the most -- underwear. Being a guy who doesn't seem to have a very long wish list at Christmas, socks and underwear are always a safe bet. We've seen the sock industry spiraling downhill now for some time, but when I put on my new Hanes this year it was a major disappointment. Oh they are still 100% cotton, but they feel 50% thinner, and cut a slimmer than before. Shirts leave barely enough to tuck in, and they haven't even been washed yet.
Is there nothing I can count on anymore? If anyone has some suggestions, I'm all ears. I know Duluth Trading has nice stuff, but $18 EACH....

Don't bother with Duluth. I tried some of that and it was so thin I might as well not have had any drawers on. Reckon they call it "buck nekkid" underwear because that's what you are when you wear it.
