Articles and Op-Ed
This forum is new and has been added at the request of members. Please use this forum for articles or Op-Ed relating to firearms and Second Amendment issues. If we get some good articles in here, I will be happy to help submit them to news outlets and other places for increased visibility.
One key point I would like to make is that Virginia has been unofficially designated as "Ground Zero for the National Gun Debate". Please keep this in mind when submitting an article here, as there is a distinct possibility that it could get some press (well, that's the hope, anyway).

Thanks, Rick. Good point. I'll volunteer to help anyone with potential edit and polish if they are interested in getting published.allingeneral wrote:This forum is new and has been added at the request of members. Re: Articles and Op-Ed
Alright - here are a couple of topics to consider.
Virginia is Ground Zero in the Gun Control Debate
Castle Doctrine in Virginia
What do you have so far?

"[Article] Why Virginia Needs a Castle Doctrine"
Wouldn't be hard to write at all and it's relative to a need here in VA. I mean even the majority of Completely blue states have one and some are even very pro "Defense at all costs" (Examples: California and Mass.)

Re: Articles and Op-Ed
How about something like this...
"The Castle Doctrine: What costs for your defense?"
This could go in a few directions. The cost of victims monetarily after an incident. Psychological costs to the victims.

I would give that another title. We dont want to portray castle doctrine as something bad. Maybe something like:BlueTiki wrote:How about something like this...
