Hello Everyone, I’m newbie. Are newbie welcome to come to the picnic? If so, I am seriously thinking about it. I would be great to open carry along with fellow gun supporter.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like me and the family are going to be able to make it to the picnic after all :( Our pharmacy apparently didn't get (or lost) the message from my son's doc about an increase in dosage in his meds for diabetes insipidus and are giving us flack about refilling the perscription and a 3hr road trip with a 8yr old without those meds quickly turns into a major undertaking.

I hope you can get the prescription matter ironed out soon. Those insurance companies can be a real PITA sometimes.

I'm sorry I have to bail, but I won't be able to make it. I was called out to work and got home late last night. I hope you all have a great time, I'm goin to have to make the next meet.

Thanks Rick for cooking the hotdogs and hamburgers, the dog licked one and had his stamp of approval, lol The dog also wishes everyone a safe trip home also with hugs and kisses and a tail wag. Steve

My wife Mary and I had had a great time at the Picnic. I would like to thank Rick and his family for all the hard work they put into the event to make it the sucess that it was. It was nice being able to put a face to names of the people i have enjoyed talking to on the forum. I really hope we get a chance to do this again.

Was out of town and came straight from the airport, so I didn't get there until things were breaking up. From the few people I did meet, however, I can say I'll be looking forward to another, and meeting the rest of you.

Best,

Here Here! Thanks to you Rick and also to the other folks that showed for making this event a great time.

Darn shame the weather was a drag. It got a bit cold out.

Indeed. The weather reminds me of a joke which I'll post in the joke topic.
