I OC'd yesterday in the Alexandria section of Fairfax Co. My wife and I went to lunch at Applebees on Rt.1 near Beacon Mall, then afterwards I went to a motorcycle shop/dealer in Hybla Valley and talked with a salesman for at least 30 minutes. No bad encounters, the dealer asked me what kind of work I did but he didn't seemed bothered at all. I must say it felt good, I will do it again.
Any trip to that area is a good reason to carry - open or otherwise...I'd have no problem OC'ing over there...
No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...
While searching for a new house my realtor gave me several addresses. One over in Hybla Valley looked ok on the net. I drove down the street and couldnt get out of there quick enough. Thought I crossed some kind of dimensional warp into a 3rd world country. Open carry there would start with machine gun turrets and claymores. I'd have to take my AR, pistol, and a flak vest just to walk the dogs. That was only about a mile from Beacon Mall. A mere 2-3 miles west from there people would probably yell, run, and dial 911 if they saw you walking around dressed decently with a pistol neatly and openly holstered. Thank God for CHP.

That sound Great...I have not open carry yet, I mainly Conceal. I know I should. I have been thinking about going to the picnic tomorrow in Fredericksburg. If I do, I'll see you there.
