Wind of change
Wind of change
When Huffington Post turns against Omamba, you know it's something.
For about a month now, I feel a change in the wind, same I felt couple months before Communist block fell in Europe in 1989.
IF that happen, be prepared. Don't let the bad guys disguised in charming sheep to take power. We made that mistake, largely because we were uninformed, and just got out of our caves and saw the light.

All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The communist party must command all the guns, that way, no guns can ever be used to command the party - Mao Tse Tung
Re: Wind of change
I'm not sure there's a "wind" yet, but I was thinking about the same thing. If a Rand Paul jumps up with a big "S" on his chest and talking about taking a hard line, do we crown him king? Of course not, but I think people tend to look for heroes and that can be dangerous.
So what do we do with all these little dust devils that are swirling around? They are all connected. Too much money (our money) and power (our power) is consolidated in the hands of a few career politicians and "activists".
There won't be a US version of an Arab Spring. As we all know, they have a lock on (almost) all the comms, including this forum...

Re: Wind of change
That's why if/when there's any uprising, it'll be successful because of lack of electronic communications.
Think the infamous "Green Dragon Tavern" that many Freemasons used, among other societies, and where the Revolution was planned. It was successful because it was out of the eye of nosey Nancies.

When it happened 24 years ago, we did not had even fix phones for more than maybe 1/3 of houses (you need to wait some 5-7 years to get a phone line). And many of those existing were tapedj1mmyd wrote:There won't be a US version of an Arab Spring. As we all know, they have a lock on (almost) all the comms, including this forum...
Trust me, you don't need comms. It's working somehow different, telepathy, empathy, pheromones, I don't know.
I am really curious who is behind the recent scandals. Clinton?

This is a very momentary hiccup in an otherwise serendipitous relationship.

Re: Wind of change
I'm telling you again that I'm sensing a wind of change.
UK dropped war support, Russkies and China publicly defies Obama, now Cyprus denies attack from it's soil.

Nobody cares about Obama (and USSR) anymore. Not even NATO http://abcnews.go.com/International/wir ... a-20119655
Who would think to that 5 years ago?
Seems like the events are not following the script, so maybe we will see some "unexpected" events, in a desperate attempt to bring things back on track.

Re: Wind of change
I dunno fellas... I've trusted Kelu on her instincts so far in these matters, and she's been on point more often than not.
I know that Obama did the CMP dirty, and that's got people talking in the gun community again.
He's got this "quagmire" (thought i would borrow THEIR term for Iraq) in Syria, and even the MSM is kinda hedging away.
He's showing his "lameduck" status AWFULLY bad in Congress right now. Because even the DEMOCRATS are running from him...
Then you have all this recent "Black-on-white" crime that's making the news more and more... to which Obama sided with "Them", not EVERYONE.
(shrugs) I dunno.

Re: Wind of change
Sounds like you've lived more of this than most of us, Kelu.
I do see a lot more world leaders thumbing their noses at us and, in particular, Pres. Obama. Americans forget that what is respected most to the majority of the world is strength and little else.
I'm also watching for the next manufactured crisis for Obama to "save" us from. He's got to be pretty desperate for a win...

Funny you should mention that. I've had the same intuition. I can't define it or substantiate it. But I've felt it. Trouble is, I don't know if it's that same thing I felt when Reagan said "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that wall!" (and since I felt a * thrill * up * my * leg * then, I can only guess that Chris Matthews must have BESHAT himself), or if it's just wishful thinking. But I hope you're right.

I don't read the Huffington Post because its far too left-leaning for me. They love them some Obama.... and they always will.
