1. Trader Jerrys to donate a rifle for a drawing to benefit VCDL!
***********************************************************************

Trader Jerrys gun store is having a second Customer Appreciation Day on Friday, June 28 and Saturday, June 29 - this time at their second store:

Cedar Bluff, VA 24609

The owner, Jerry Cochran, is donating a rifle that will be given away in a drawing at the event! (The rifle will be Jerry's choice and will be displayed at the event.)

VCDL will be selling the drawing tickets at our table during Customer Appreciation Day. Tickets will be sold ONLY from our table at the two day event. ALL proceeds will be donated by Jerry to VCDL!

Ticket price is $3.00 each -or- 2 for $5.00. The drawing will be at the store before closing on June 29.

Besides discounting firearms for the event, ANY customer who signs up for a NEW VCDL MEMBERSHIP at the event will receive an ADDITIONAL $10.00 off the purchase price of a FIREARM!

NOTE: the additional $10.00 OFF ONLY applies to FIREARM SALES AT THIS EVENT and to ***NEW*** VCDL MEMBERSHIPS.

The first Trader Jerrys Customer Appreciation Day, this past weekend, was a huge success for VCDL. We hope to make this one even bigger!

2. Help needed to man the VCDL table for the Trader Jerrys event (see above)
***********************************************************************

VCDL has a free table at Trader Jerrys Customer Appreciation Day, but we will need a few helpers for this event -- limited to three per shift. Hours: 9 AM-2 PM and 2 PM-6 PM daily. Helpers MUST sign up in advance.

3. VCDL membership meeting in New Castle on June 24th!
***********************************************************************

VCDL will have a membership meeting at the New Castle Volunteer Fire Department Building on Monday, June 24th, starting at 6:30 PM.

The address is:

443 Conrad St.
New Castle, VA 24127

The FIRE DEPT is located one block off of RT 311, behind the New Castle Commons Building (old high school building)

As with all VCDL meetings, this one is open to the public, so bring along some friends and family!
