Lafayette Gun Club
Lafayette Gun Club
I have been looking into the excellent suggestions for ranges and such in my "Moving to VA thread" and Lafayette Gun club has me interested. Is anyone on here a member? I noticed you have to be recommended by a current member in good standing, which I am sure will come in time and I like the idea that the gun club is partially limited that way. The facilities look excellent, can anyone further elaborate on them? Thanks!

And the storm last night has caused some damage to the facilities. As of this writing the club is closed to all until repairs are complete. To members of the club- you might want to wait until there is official word of opening after repairs are complete before making the trip.
No Exceptions.

We have outdoor 25, 50 and 100 yrd ranges. Firing positions on theses ranges are covered. Very nice in the summer when it gets hot. Shotgun/Trap range. There is a covered area with picnic benches behind the firing positions. And a 10 position indoor pistol range.gln305 wrote:I have been looking into the excellent suggestions for ranges and such in my "Moving to VA thread" and Lafayette Gun club has me interested. Women's facilities are in the clubhouse. Men's are in the woods.

No Exceptions.

Looks like a good place to wait for membership...guess I'll have to find another place for the mean time. This new 10/22 is begging for some range time!
