1. Bloomberg magazine, ammo, and large sugary drink giveaway THIS Thursday, May 23rd!

In 2007 VCDL held the Bloomberg Gun Giveaway in which we gave away two handguns.
It's time for another giveaway to celebrate last month's defeat of Michael Bloomberg's anti-gun agenda!
This time YOU have a chance to win valuable prizes supplied by VCDL as a tribute to Mayor Bloomberg, including:
AR-15 and AK-47 magazines
Ammunition
A large, sugary, high-caffeine soft drink
And more!
New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, a Napoleanic understudy, is a true "gun-nut" who is fixated on firearms. He wants to disarm everyone, except, of course, his own FIVE-man security team! We must make sure that none of his agenda makes it into law. HE WILL BE BACK, probably after summer, to take another slash at the Constitution.
The meeting is free and open to the public. Each lucky winner will have his choice of the remaining prizes as the drawing progresses.

Fellowship starts at 7:30 PM, with the meeting called to order at 8:00 PM.

2. Reminder: VCDL picnic in Salem THIS Saturday!
**********************************************************
A VCDL pot luck picnic is being held THIS Saturday, May 25, in Salem's Long Wood Park. Please bring a covered dish to share with others. "Out-of-towners" please just come, we will feed you!
VCDL will furnish plates, napkins, plasticware, cups and soft drinks. The picnic is open to the public.
Early birds start arriving at 10 AM and we will begin eating at 11 AM.
