Self defense classes for women
Self defense classes for women
I'm looking for places that teach self defense classes, it doesn't have to be women specific. Preferably somewhere that offers once a week, continual training not just a one or two day seminar. Within an hour of Fred preferably.

I see there is a Krav Maga class in Lorton. Don't sweat a hijack if you are looking for the same info.

Are you looking for a physical self-defense class, or something else?

Not sure how far you want to drive, but there are three different rec centers that offer a "Self Defense for Women" course: http://parktakes.fairfaxcounty.gov/rev1 ... &offset=20
They have other martial arts classes as well.

It's for my daughter, my wife will decide after the kiddo gets schooled up.

In that case, speaking as a man with a daughter, I approve.
