But we cannot just kill them without a trial (obviously unless they resist and fire upon police). If they are captured they need to be givin a trial and you know that. it is right in the god damn constitution. Here we are trying to save one of the amendments that is so crucial, but were just going to let another one go to the wayside on emotions? That is exactly what this is. People are upset because of the death and injuries, so we want to make a snap judgement and ignore these peoples rights...scumbags as they may be.

Im pretty sure we all bitched at how the country wanted to pass rampant gun control only after children were murdered. We know for a fact it was so emotion filled it was sickening. If you want to protect the constitution, you cant just pick and choose the parts you like...

Of course, you are right. But there still ain't no shame in wishing them dead; or in being honest enough to admit it. That's what sets us apart from most of the rest of the world; we don't ignore the basic rights even of those who don't deserve them.

I just hope that whatever the outcome, enough intel is gathered to find out if they were acting alone or if they had other cohorts.

i thought they said they were, for the last year. they may have just been living here.

as far as that even if that is the case...many will argue that the constitution simply outlines basic human rights as given by god, citizen of the US or not...but meh...thats a gray area.

The part i do hate is that if they are convicted, that the could spend life in prison. So wheres the justice. Just kill them and stop making the taxpayer support them. But thats a problem with the injustice system not the constitution.
