"ATF officials said federal firearms license holders receive a copy of the violations report before a revocation is initiated and are made aware of the violations again during the hearing process. They have 60 days to appeal and in this case they chose not to do so, officials said."

Yeah I am sure that right after the shooting they received the copy of violations report and were given the information and time to fight it. Right!... and I am the Pope.

:pistol:

It sounds like they were looking for some one to blame, to punish so they went after the person/company who sold the weapons. I could be reading into it, and they could have "violated" their license agreement but something makes me doubt the validity of it all.

Blaming everyone except who needs blaming, there's only three. 1: Lanza himself 2:Lanza's mother 3: the dumbarse that let him in the school (as many seem to have forgotten)!

Yep, probably went to the shop right after the shooting, wrote them up for stuff they knew they couldn't fix in a timely manner, and now have reason to revoke their license.

And why not close the steel factory that supplied the metal to Bushmaster too? It fits their logic.

The purpose of this is to discourage stores from selling guns. If gun store owners get the message that they may lose out if a gun that they sold ended up being used in a crime, they may stop selling.

Basically, more underhanded gun control.

I believe you will find that this FFL had other issues and were under investigation before the shooting.

I suppose that they might have already been under investigation. I try to be reasonable, so I have to entertain that notion. However, the timing IS interesting, and it certainly lends itself well to the idea of an evil government conspiracy.
