This is interesting science... I see lots of cool uses, and also very nefarious uses possible. I guess it is the same with anything, it can be used for good or bad.

"Temporary electronic tattoos could soon help people fly drones with only thought and talk seemingly telepathically without speech over smartphones, researchers say. Electrical engineer Todd Coleman at the University of California at San Diego is devising noninvasive means of controlling machines via the mind, techniques virtually everyone might be able to use.
Commanding machines using the brain is no longer the stuff of science fiction. In recent years, brain implants have enabled people to control robotics using only their minds, raising the prospect that one day patients could overcome disabilities using bionic limbs or mechanical exoskeletons."

I had friends over this last Sunday for dinner, and games. For dinner Husband made steak. I made mushroom risotto, and kale chips. I made braised pineapple in phyllo dough cups, with a conelle (that is scoup) of vanilla ice cream for a dessert.

The pineapple were braised in, Orange juice, Orange zest, Grand Marnier (that there is orange flavored Alchy hawl, also works really well with rum as well), vanilla, and a little bit of brown sugar. I then baked off phyllo cups and filled the baked cup with the braised pineapple, and put a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

I think you can have that dessert Reverenddel as it has very little sugar other than the sugars in the fruit.

On days when I feel like misbehavin'... I try to be a "good boy" all the time, but I am with "sugar sin" HAHAHA

I usually have very SMALL portions even when I cheat. I try to stay below 100-150 carbs a day... And that's being GENEROUS.

What I miss? Challah bread with cinnamon, raisins, dates, almonds, and pistachios, with a lil' brown sugar mixed in... There is a Croatian baker who would make those for breakfast. Dear...Gawd... that heated with a glass of milk was like heaven.

And I miss bananas foster over homemade french vanilla ice cream... YOU PEOPLE ARE EEEEVILLL!!! HAHAHAH

Seems to me that this sort of thing can be programmed to control the wearer, too. I regard this technology in the same way I regard hypnotism; I do not trust it and want no parts of it.

Point well taken. If it can read what you're thinking and send it to who you want to communicate with, WHO KNOWS where else it's getting sent? That's a WHOLE LOT worse than them damned black boxes in your car that we've been bitching about lately.

Next step? your tatoo will order your hand to slap your face and your mouth to turn yourself in to the political officer whenever you have an unkind thought about the dear leader.

Fortunately for TacticalDad we are wired the same way in some ways. I can very much appreciate a beautiful Woman. I just happen to like both. =)

Hate me if you want... Shrugs I still get to look, and he does not get into trouble when he notices a pretty one. He will just point out "hey she is pretty" or hey look at her, or did you see her?... etc etc etc.

The good Lord made me so that I can appreciate beauty in all forms. I am not complaining.

There's a remote possibility that you'll find Swedish Fish or other gummies soaked in ti-test vodka, rum, or grain alchohol of interest, then.


I can see where some sensors would be easily made as a temp tattoo, but for other than the most simple things, there's have to be several of them placed and a fair amount of circuitry nearby. Maybe when they finally get some quantum circuitry out of the lab...

If's fun to think about though. I can see many potential industrial, hobbiest, and even prurient applications.
