AR500 Auto Reset Target

Post by rc51rookie »

We sent out a couple pigs to get some real world feedback and this is what we have come up with. The standard Pig will be set up for long range rifle duty. Preferably .308 as that has the power to move the plate much easier than the .223. The Pig comes mounted to out standard tube steel heavy base. This is the same base we use for our Dueling trees as well as all silhouette targets. It is designed with a 15 deree forward tilt so if you do choose to shoot up close all the splatter will be directed down into the ground. The target plate itself is 3/8" AR500 steel and will fall back to just shy of parallel to the ground. Using spring assists as well as the energy from the round it will rebound to its origional 15 degree tilt. One great bit of feedback was to offer The Pig on a post to allow it to stand at the same height as our full size silhouettes for use during CQB training. The post will be an add-on and not come standard with the Standard Pig Set-up

What are the measurements of the target? You don't state it here or on your site.
