Thinking about starting an organization called Backbone....

Post by davasmith »

So I'm sitting in my work van today thinking about what I could do to personally make a difference in today's society. The idea I came up with is "Backbone". An organization that puts elbows and assholes to work. The leading theme would be, "Lead, follow or get the hell out of the way!" I call it an organization because it sounds formal. However, it would be a group of men and women who actually will "do" something about gov't and local falicies. When we say, "get your house in order and do something to preserve this country or we will" we'll mean it. How do you ask? Actions to task. When we say you have 2 weeks to act, we give two weeks then we act. When we say tell the truth or we will do it, we'll do it. When (and if);> the time comes to kick ass and take numbers we do it. We are only as helpless as we make ourselves. Now, who's coming with me?..................... crickets?????? I will talk the talk and walk the walk, will you. I have means to be taken seriously do you? I have a backbone, do you. We carried arms to defend this country in foreign lands, will we carry them in this land? I will. If this scares some of you, please review the policy stated earlier, "Lead, follow or get the hell out of the way. I love my country and I'm am tired of seeing her raped repeatedly and mercilessly. I am yelling in the woods at the top of my lungs, does anyone hear what I'm saying? As a side note, understand that emails "demanding" reps to do anything will just be deleted but a man looking into your eyes with the knowhow and means to do the job will always be taken serious. Where oh where is wylde007? I'd like a sit down with him and some others like vb, sgt. and perhaps rev. I'm looking for a few good, country loving men to stand together. I am NOT looking for lookyloos or computer warriors.

Everyone wants to be patriotic, but there is a fine line between the patriotism that our founding fathers showed and the domestic terrorism that the previous guy was involved in. The difference comes down to public opinion. Right now the public opinion isn't behind anything other than peaceful protests.

No terrorism here, just love of country. Don't get it twisted and no I didn't stutter. As for the teaparty unless they have militant means they're are useless as well or are you are telling me that they're terrorist? Protest peacefully, live free (idiots), love free and smoke something wonderful and we'll get the same results as vietnam vets and families. You know the whole history repeats itself? Washington, Jefferson, Henry, Madison wouldn't stand a chance today with all the frigg'n cowards out here. Damn............

If even one guy shows up to your first meeting your group will be 50% undercover FBI agents.

100% if my hunch is correct about you.

Like Kreutz, I'm skeptical, even suspicious. A few questions:

1. Who is the "you" who has 2 weeks to act.
2. Exactly how will you "kick ass and take numbers"?

I'd rather keep working on the Tea Party takeover of the GOP. It's easier, safer, LEGAL, and has a higher probability of success.

Wasn't it Claire Wolf who said "the FBI agent is always the guy trying to get you to overthrow the government" or something like that?

I'm of the opinion we still have a functioning constitutional republic....just because it may not be functioning how you or I like it does not make it a de facto tyrannical government.

If something like the Tea party is your cup of tea (God I'm witty and bet no one has ever used that pun before) throw your lot in with them and hope your guys win. If not try again next time.

And stay far away from guys like Mr. Smith. Plenty of Randy Weavers probably wish they did.

Perhaps the more relevant Claire Wolfe famous quotation in this case would be this:

"America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards." – 101 Things to Do 'Til the Revolution (1996)
"The Bill of Rights is what the people are entitled to against every government, and what no just government should refuse, or rest on inference." -Thomas Jefferson

And I have met Randy Weaver.

All he wanted to be was left alone, but the guy who pressed him, on, and on and on about sawing off that shotgun was in bed with the ATF, and FBI... Because Weaver "Thought differently" than others... Times got hard, Randy needed money, did what he did to feed his family.

They changed the court date on him, failed to get a supoena to him, and he failed to make the date. So they issued a bench warrant for him... with tactical teams, and snipers in wait.

Like Waco....

Like Elian Gonzalez...

What's the next one with the abuse of power? But again, like others have said, we're a constitutional republic, work within it's confines, keep putting people against the norm.

Eventually, we'll come thru this crap. We did it with CARTER! I still cannot believe the past 13 years, the losses of freedoms that have become "acceptable", and the way people have that "gimme-gimme-gimme" attitude without any desire to WORK for anything!

I need a new coin, a new realm, and a new brethern of citizens who are individuals, but see the big picture.

Guys and gals I am not a federal agent or local police or cia or dea or atf or nsa. I have no problem meeting with you privately or openly and I have had a few dealings with members here in the past that would testify to that. I did not say overthrow the govt, ya'll did. As for the kick ass and take numbers I meant what I said. Tit for tat, eye for eye, blood for blood. The "we" are the people as in (we the people). When will you say (and actually do something about it) enough is enough. I am not Randy Weaver, God bless him, nor am I a spook. I am a patriot, a father, a husband, a son and extremely concerned citizen. I would be happy to get you a hotdog, popcorn or a beer. Think what you will, but you'll never meet a more real or serious person. Kruetz, I don't know jessy ventura but I do know some boys that he used to "work" with. I have no hidden adgenda nor have I stuttered here. I can be reached via p.m. here or email. I do understand your skepticism but sometimes the real deal is the real deal. I am a man of my word and those who have put their back to mine have known I had theirs. When ya'll get serious and stop with the "hotdog" and popcorn jokes, feel free to contact me. I live in chester, near rev and work in richmond. God speed and I'm not holding my breath!
