Bill Passes House Committee

I looked around but didn't see it elsewhere. Now, if we can just pass it. Every little hurdle for the others to cross helps in some small way.

Surovell (D-Fairfax) needs to take a class on the US Constitution as well as the Virginia State Constitution.

From the VA Constitution (http://law.justia.com/constitution/virginia/):

Section 13. Militia; standing armies; military subordinate to civil power.

That a well regulated militia, composed of the body of the people, trained to arms, is the proper, natural, and safe defense of a free state, therefore, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed...

People - individual right - not limited to hunting or sporting purposes, but rather for defense.

Do these folks not even know we have a State Constitution ?!?
And if Bruce Dickinson wants more cowbell, we should probably give him more cowbell!
