I'm grateful for your advocacy on this important issue. I am a strong supporter of our Second Amendment rights and have both introduced and actively supported bills upholding the right to bear arms. I've also strenuously opposed bills designed to chip away at those rights, including, earlier this session, bills designed to ban the private sale of firearms and banning the possession of broad categories of guns. You'll be pleased to learn that these bills all died in committee.
I will continue to stand up for our Second Amendment rights, and I appreciate your encouragement and support on this important issue.
