A new courtship with the XDM 45 3.8 compact. Just bought it this morning, are you kidding me? This thing is awesome for carry. Feels just like I'm carrying my Walther PPS 9mm (now strapped in my ankle holster is the BUG).

Truly, I'm in love. Don't expect any divorces in this relationship.

Nice. I too love the XDm line. They are super reliable and will feed anything. Gotta get an XDs at some point.

Mine is bi-tone, and I'm trying to determine if I should try to color the engravings. If so - what color against the stainless steel? Black? Hrm....

Practicing draw on it is WAY different than my PPS. I got a rail bite the first few tries... need to work more on it; maybe change the backstrap to meet more to what my PPS has.

I love my XDMs. I have the XDM 9 Compact and the XDM 4.5' .45 ACP. I had Springfield put in a new trigger and Trijicon HD sights on the the Compact, and it's sweet.

Draw is different than my M&P 9C and Shield. Also feels different on the hip after carrying the M&Ps.
