This site is as handy as a pocket on a shirt. And definitely bump-worthy :bump:

I am trying to find a .pdf manual for a Winchester Model 72, bolt action .22. Also a manual for a Springfield M-1 Carbine... the old .30 caliber carbine model. I think they referred to it as a 'tankers' version. Neither of these is listed on the above mentioned site... although I have found a multitude of other manuals here. What a great site.

Neither of these guns is listed on either of these sites.... I am googling now to see what I can find... thanks for the input... those sites did have a lot of info that I downloaded for guns that I presently have... just having trouble finding the two mentioned.

Good stuff. When I got my Glock the previous owner kept all the goodies to himself, case, manual, lock, everything.

Of course finding a Glock manual isnt hard, but this is still a good site.

I found it in English and Italian, don't look for it under Springfield, look at the very first "M". The rifle technically was designed by Winchester (that's where I saw the Italian manual). The "tanker's version" was actually a shorter barreled version of the M1 Garand. It was never actually used by the military, but versions were marketed by several companies.
You just have to ask yourself, is he telling you the truth based on knowledge and experience or spreading internet myths?
