How to Stop Mass Shootings

Post by Bob424 »

I came across this video and was relieved to finally see a great "Common Sense" arguement on how to stop mass shootings. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/83028786/

If you agree, please share this with as many as possible. Hopefully it will wake some people up.

A great video and great message, however I wish there was a link to the video that didn't auto-open some crap advertisement like the above.

The other day, one of the MSM released a poll stating that only 27% of teachers nationwide were in favor of arming themselves in the schools. The MSM is eating this up as PROOF that is a bad idea. Well, you can look at this differently. I am surprised that there actually ARE 27% who would do this. BRAVO. If one in four teachers might possibly be carrying in the classroom, my God that would be a deterrence that money can't buy.

Get rid of all the "gun free zone" signs and ANNOUNCE TO THE WORLD that some teachers will be carrying (you don't need to be specific) in each and every school, and then watch how these tragedies suddenly cease.
PROST!

If 1 in 4 teachers were armed in my high school, that would have easily been 20-30 armed individuals. Suddenly the numbers change, instead of an unopposed rampage by one to two murderers, you now have a 20 to a 1 or 2 ratio with a little more equality in firepower on the teachers side.

My father growing up in the hills of Virginia told me the principal carried a .45 ACP 1911 on his hip!

I remember when growing up, at Lee-Davis back in the 80's, if you went hunting, you could leave your shotgun on the gun rack of your truck, if the action was open, and they could see it was unloaded.

WTF happened to this country?!?!

Yep! Remember Mr. Lucas checking the trucks during lunch period.

Hell, they schedule "Parent-Teacher" conferences on the first day of hunting season, because they KNEW no one would be there!

EXACTLY! So the objection sort of boils down to: "this could work, so we're against it!"

I didn't attend there, but worked there in const for Phase I, II and III renovations... I felt like I had graduated after all that.

Any way, you want to stop mass shootings, bring your kids up right. See Walter Williams @ Townhall for a list of where we've gone wrong...
