You most likely already know this, But 9mm ammo in Williamsburg is unheard of. Wal-Mart and Dicks Sporting Goods are all sold out. I hopped on Wal-Marts website last night and found out that only 5 stores within 60 miles have 9mm in stock. I ended up driving 33 miles down to the Cunningham Drive Wal-Mart and payed about 2 dollars more per box of ammunition.

List of stores currently carrying Federal Champion 9mm.

Norfolk - Tidewater Drive
Portsmouth - Fredrick Blvd
Hampton - Cunningham Drive
Chesapeake - Sam's Circle
Gloucester - Walton Way

When I picked up some ammo in the Hampton store I was told that the distribution wearhouse in Williamsburg was completely dry. Get it while you still can, the police are even having a difficult time finding ammo.

I read somewhere that WalMart has halted the purchase of ammunition for the time being. Whatever's in the distribution centers is it. It's unclear if it's true (prolly true given the number of folks talking about no ammunition on shelves), why the decision was made, and when it'll return to a regularly stocked item.
And if Bruce Dickinson wants more cowbell, we should probably give him more cowbell!

I heard on the news that Wal-Mart is going to attend the Obama Admin's meeting on gun control. Most likely politically motivated.

I don't think the Walmart in Hampton has 9mm. I've been watching their shelves and they are pretty scarce, mostly 22 and bird shot on their shelves.

They must've sold out quickly. I went onto the website and typed in federal 9mm and it came up with those 5 stores. I bought 4 boxes, a guy behind me freaked out and asked if I bought the last box. He ended up buying 6.
