Howdy,

Decided to re-up my CHP via mail this time around. I had 45-90 days left on mine, and my wife had 90-180 days left on hers, so we got our applications notarized and mailed them in together with payment for the both, on or about 12 November.

Received the applications and payment back 16 November with request to return them with photocopies of current CHPs and ID showing current address, which we mailed out the next day.

Received new permits on or about 12 December. Both were dated to take up as our current permits expire.

All in all a pretty painless experience.
