This is getting crazy and my false flag radar is buzzing. The government won't have to take guns away if the people are convinced it's best to give them up.

These things come in groups because killing people isn't the end, it's the means to an end. These mass killers want their 15mins of fame and once one gets it the others who are almost to the tipping point get pushed over by the 24hr media coverage because they too want to be important. It's also why some others kill famous people even when they actually like that person and started out obsessing about them; you keep what you kill (to barrow a movie phrase) and if you want fame, what better way to get it?
Obviously, this is a complex subject and we're just skimming the surface with our discussion, but books like The Gift of Fear discuss it further. The irony of that book is that the firearm incidents that author experienced as a kid, which ultimately "made" him into who he is today, are exactly the reason he can't rationally discuss firearms and take his own advice concerning fear when it comes to them. Irrational fears are well, irrational.

You're right about that. Every media outlet has CT plastered all over their front page. People want to 1-up this guy, including this Indiana man.gunderwood wrote:These things come in groups because killing people isn't the end, it's the means to an end. I wouldn't even count that guy in Indiana. From what that article says, it looks like the guy made a tasteless comment while arguing with his wife, then the wife proceeded to freak out and report him. Unless there's more that the story didn't say (always a possiblity).
Everybody has made regrettable comments in an argument.

I hear an echo. I stated this in my previous post about the Newtown deal. It'll "copy-cat" for a while, fade out for 4-5 months, then resurge again. Just people looking for 15 mins of fame or trying to "one up" the previous killers "score." I see this shooting being the last for a while (4-5 months). Just sayin'.
